This is why cats are so superior to human beings. Don't get me wrong - I think it's healthy and appropriate to enjoy a little bit of levity and humor every once in a while. But, the fact that the mistress of the house spent five minutes of her busy day (five minutes which she could have devoted to petting me) looking at these ridiculous pictures of animals and humans in their most vulnerable and awkward positions seems to me to be a colossal waste of time.

What's more, the fact that these images actually induced chuckles, giggles, outright laughter, and full-on guffaws (to the point where she needed to wipe her eyes and hold her sides!) from a woman who is typically as level-headed and straight-laced as they come is a complete mystery to me.

I love the people I live with, but I will never understand them.
