Just This Once...

Today is the woman jailer's birthday. I can't recall the people ever celebrating my birthday, but I have decided to be the bigger creature and mark the occasion anyway.

Just this once - for this one day only - I shall resist trying to escape, and do my very best to "enjoy" life as a house cat. I expect it will be perfectly awful. But, it wouldn't be much of a gift without some sacrifice.

So, bring on the petting, the pampering, and even the picking up. I'll tolerate it all with a benevolent smile. I hope she appreciates this...
