Let the Countdown Begin

At long last! The coast is clear. They've pulled out of the driveway, suitcases loaded. I can't say for sure exactly how long they'll be gone, but I'm guessing it's got to be at least a week.

Finally! I'll be free to enact my most daring plan ever! Finally! I won't have to worry about interruptions, or getting caught. Finally! My moment of escape is at hand!

The only obstacles I face now are time, the other cats (with whom I'm forced to share this even-more restrictive prison called the basement), and my lack of opposable thumbs. Those are but minor issues compared to my overwhelming intellect, cunning, and desire to be free.

Watch out rodents of the neighborhood - here I come!
